BURGUNDY GLITTER EYE WITH GLOSSIER PLAY/ LUCIA ABUIN
Glossier Play time! Glossier came out with a beautiful, playful makeup line that’s all about having a bit of fun with makeup and glitter, which you know, I am all about!
I didn’t get all of the products, just because there’s no need to get things that I am not going to use, but I did get a few things that caught my eye and seemed unique.
All in all, I love the products they came out with, the price is reasonable and everything is really fun and playful.
The standout products I think have to be the highlighter, the glitters and THE SHARPENER!! The highlighter gives a beautiful glow that’s a bit more intense than what I am used to wearing, but it looks beautiful and doesn’t emphasize texture. Yes, it is small, but the area on which you put it on is small, so that doesn’t bother me.
The glitters are fun! They come suspended in a transparent base, except for Firewalk which has a red transparent base, but it is still pretty much translucent. I like the size of the pots because, honestly, how much glitter does one need? I’m guessing not much.
The Color Glide Pencils are beautiful. I think the shades are original, it stays put and it glides on. Yes, there are better ones on the market like the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Pencils or the Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Pencils, but those are more expensive.
The sharpener, or how they call it, Blade, is AAAA-MAZING! It has a small container that holds the residue and it sharpens really well. It’s a favorite.
I didn’t get any of the lip products because they didn’t catch my eye. I don’t wear glossy lipstick so I didn’t think I’d wear them, so that’s the story behind that. Not much of a story, is it?
