GLITZ & LINER/ LUCIA ABUIN
Today is a fun one! We are doing a winged liner and a glittery, winged out lid.
To keep everything looking chic and modern I kept the color palette very uniform across the face and the skin really fresh and glowy.
Here are some of my favorite glitters:
–Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb: this product is initially meant to be used on the body and the face. However, I love using it on the eyes if I want glitter but a tiny bit subtler. It is extremely fine iridescent glitter suspended in a transparent base, which makes up for easy application with fingers.
–Glossier Play Glitter Gelee: this is chunkier glitter than the Fenty one, but it’s also more dramatic and impactful, if that’s the vibe you are going for. The glitter comes suspended in a transparent gel, which you can pick up with your finger or a flat brush and apply on to your eyes or face. These types of gels, even though are very easy to use, make it a bit more difficult to get an even application. Having said that, I still really like them and continue to use.
–Lemonhead Spacepaste: in terms of formula, this product is identical to the Glossier Play one. However, they have A LOT MORE VARIETY of shades and textures.
–Marc Jacobs Beauty See-Quins Glam Glitter Eyeshadow: these are not proper glitter, but more a pressed pigment that is very metallic with a bit of glitter suspended in it. But this is not to get you discouraged, because it is still very impactful, shimmery and beautiful!
–Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow: these have to be my favorite of the bunch! They are so beautiful and easy to use. They are very fine glitter suspended in a colored base (depending on the shade) that has an applicator so that you at it on directly to your eyes.
–Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner: these are fun and colorful! If you don’t want to go all out with the glitter, a very easy, subtler way to do it is to use the glitter as a liner and these are just that- a glitter liner. It has a very fine brush that makes it easy to apply.
